On the Saturday before the 4th of July, our ward had a Patriotic Pancake breakfast/celebration. We've been doing it for a couple of years now and they always have a bike parade, with bikes decorated of course and games to play for the kids to win prizes. Aidan and Connor didn't decorate their bikes, but Finn and Brogan did and they thought it was so cool. I think Finn still has some of hers on her bike.
She had just learned to ride her bike without training wheels the day before. She was really scared to ride it without them and I think she could have a long time ago, but you have to wait until they feel ready. Once she did it, it took a couple of times before she really got the hang of it and now wants to take her bike everywhere!
